These terms and conditions apply to the purchase of goods on hjortekaer.com for delivery in Denmark, but not Greenland and the Faroe Islands.

Order confirmation:

All orders are confirmed automatically (by e-mail), and you will receive a message by e-mail within the next working day if there should be problems with delivery (backorder / sold out items).

You can always follow your order status by following the link provided in your order confirmation. Possibly. offers on the website are valid for that or as long as stock lasts. Reservations are made for sold-out items, pictures and typing errors.

Payment:

We accept payment via the following card types:

The amount will only be deducted from your card when the item is shipped.

hjortekaer.com uses a payment gateway from Scanpay. The communication with this payment solution has been tested by NETS. All card data is sent encrypted. We can never deduct an amount higher than what you have approved

We have made great efforts to be able to offer a secure solution to our customers and guarantee that we do not store sensitive information on our own server.

All credit card information is entered in a secure environment (SSL) and sent in encrypted form to NETS. When you pay for an order with a credit card, Hjortekær Danmark gets the right to withdraw the amount when we send your order.

Payment can also be made by bank transfer, we point out that with this form of payment you are not covered by the objection scheme.

If a bank transfer is chosen, an additional 2-3 working days must be expected on top of the normal delivery time.

Delivery:

However, if your order contains order items, the order will only be shipped when we can make a total delivery.

All orders are delivered as postal packages. Delivery time 2-4 days if the item is in stock.

Shipping prices:

All domestic orders (DK) are added an amount to cover the shipping costs. These tariffs are entered in our system, and you will always be informed of the freight before you order. You will never pay more than what is calculated by the system.

Overseas and foreign destinations pay freight at applicable rates.

Complaint:

A 2-year right to make a complaint is granted in accordance with the Danish Sale of Goods Act. Our right of complaint applies to defects in material and / or manufacturing. You can have the item repaired, exchanged, the money returned or a reduction in the price, depending on the specific situation.

The complaint does not apply to errors or damage committed by incorrect handling of the product / service. You must complain in “reasonable time” after you have discovered the defect / error. Hjortekær Danmark will cover return costs to a reasonable extent.

We do not receive packages without delivery or packages sent by post. cash on delivery.

It is recommended to send packages with Track and Trace, as it is the customer’s responsibility that we receive the package.

Right of withdrawal:

As a consumer, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal when you shop at www.hjortekaer.com.

The cancellation period expires 14 days after the day you received your item. If you have ordered several different items in one order, but they are delivered individually, the deadline runs from the day you receive the last item.

The deadline means that you have 14 days from receipt to notify us that you will regret your purchase. You can send an email to sales@hjortekaer.com or use the standard cancellation form, which you will find at the bottom of the terms and conditions.

You can not cancel the purchase by refusing to receive the item without notifying us at the same time.

Undoing part of the purchase

If you have purchased several items from us, you have the option of sending one or more items back, even if they were purchased in one order.

Please note that you will not be reimbursed for shipping costs if you regret part of your purchase.

Return:

Once you have notified us that you will regret your purchase, you have 14 days to send the item back to us.

You must pay for the package to be returned, and it is you who is liable if damage occurs or the package is lost during transport.

It is recommended to send packages with Track and Trace, as it is the customer’s responsibility that we receive the package.

Have you regretted your purchase: Please attach a copy of the invoice and also write if you want a refund or the item has been exchanged.

The condition of the item when you send it back:

You are only liable for any deterioration in the value of the item, which is due to handling other than what is necessary to determine the item’s nature, properties and the way it works. In other words, you can try the item in the same way as if you tried it in a physical store, but you must not take it into actual use.

If the item has been tried in addition to what is described above, we consider it to be used, which means that upon cancellation of the purchase, you will only receive part or none of the purchase amount back, depending on the item’s commercial value.

We recommend that you return the item in the original packaging.

If the original packaging is missing, it may lead to a decrease in the value of the item.

Refund of the purchase amount

If you regret your purchase, you will get your money back. If the item is impaired, we will deduct the amount you are liable for.

We will refund all payments received from you, including delivery costs (but not extra delivery costs in cases where you have chosen a different form of delivery than the cheapest standard delivery we offer), no later than 14 days from the day we received your message that you want to cancel the agreement.

We will refund the money with the same means of payment that you used at the time of purchase, unless we have agreed otherwise.

We can withhold the payment until we have received the item, unless you send us proof of having returned it.
